Welcome to Suicide Assessment and Intervention for Behavioral Health Clinicians, a comprehensive training designed to provide clinicians with a practical and accessible approach to working with clients at risk of suicide.
This course is designed for behavioral health professionals, including but not limited to psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, counselors, and nurses, who want to enhance their skills in working with individuals at risk of suicide. It is appropriate for both early career clinicians as well as any seasoned clinician hoping to further develop their competence and confidence in working with those at risk of suicide. In developing the course, particular consideration was given to the needs of private practitioners who often operate without the structured support that is available in larger clinic settings - but the content applies to behavioral health clinicians in any setting.
